Christobel Mattingley AM
Christobel Mattingley AM was a prolific, awarded and revered South Australian author of children's books.
She was acknowledged as a SA Great of children's literature and awarded Honorary Membership of the CBCA (SA Branch).
In recognition of her contribution to Australian children's literature, the CBCA (SA Branch) has initiated a national campaign by the Children's Book Council of Australia to raise $5000 so that her name can be listed as a Major Donor, In Memoriam, for the CBCA Book of the Year Awards Foundation to contribute to funding prizes for the CBCA Book of the Year Awards.
We ask all South Australians to consider contributing to this campaign.
